Reaper,
1. You should have the right to express yourself as it pleases you. If the way that you want to have dialogue is through polls, then more power to you. Those that dislike polls can choose not participate. They can even add you to their ignore lists if they so desire.
2. I don't understand why there are some that want to limit or stifle your free speech. I guess they are cyber bullies??
3. It is my opinion that you spurred a lot of discussion during the lonnngggg, boring off-season. Thank you and keep up the good work!
4. My conclusion is that you should post, start new threads, and create polls as you so desire.
Free Speech!!!! Empower the people! Freedom for dialogue and exchange of ideas in the ShockerNet virtual marketplace. Down with the Fascists! Down with Cyber Bullies! Down with the anti free speech crowd!
Long live the right of freedom of expression!!!!Last edited by Shocker-maniac; November 8, 2016, 09:11 PM.ShockerNet is a rat infested cess pool.

So now that the electorate has spoken, what have we learned?
1. First, for those who voted for me, awe---thank you and “you like me, you really really like me”.
2. Secondly, for those who did not, my campaign spokesman, Nelson, has two for words for you--
3. It was a squeaker---NOT!---some polling scientists take the position that a victory by 10% is considered a landslide victory, most consider a 15% spread to be a landslide, while the famous statistician Nate Silver says it must be greater than 20%. We finished at almost 35%.
4. Not surprised that a single forum Moderator, Administrator, or Staff (retired) member spoke on the issue. This was the real reason I put my posting privileges up to the entire membership to decide. Because when other members start requesting or taking a position to have someone banned, who gets to decide that outcome? A single Moderator, Administrator, or Staff (retired) member? That is a lot of power in the hands of one individual regarding my (or anyone’s) posting activity and I was not willing to sit on the sideline while some faceless online bureaucrat decided my fate, time for a little “guerrilla warfare tactics” and head them off at the pass. However, this still does not prevent that from happening, because with a click here and click there, boom done I am toast, but I don’t think that will happen. “The Will of the People have spoken.”
5. Nonetheless, what would have happened if my posting privileges where recommended to be terminated? Was there a real possibility this could happen? Sure! Was my position so weak that it could not even withstand the challenge of debate? Perhaps. May I have misread the direction and will of the membership? Maybe, but I thought not. In fact, I even voted to have my “privileges revoked” (snicker, snicker).
6. Well, just in case I better have a backup plan. While I was pretty confident I was going to be staying, I could have either posted on other forums, or even started my own, or simply quit posting had the vote been to revoke. I would have stopped posting here had the vote been such and I would have been okay with that happening. I would have simply moved on and you would not have the “WuShock Reaper to kick around anymore!”
I could cover other thoughts regarding this issue (and let me just tell you, I have them), but it’s time to heal the rift, mend fences, and put behind us the bitter and divisiveness of this campaign and “Make SHOCKERNET Great Again!”
Shocker Up,
The WuShock Reaper
P.S. It’s good to be back.
